Egypt's net foreign reserves plunged to US$22.072 billion in October from $24.01 billion the month before, according to figures published on the central bank's website on Thursday. The drop of around $2 billion is one of the largest since former president Hosni Mubarak was ousted in February. Foreign reserves for October 2010 were $35.545 billion, according to central bank data.
