Egypt's major stocks close Thursday up 0.8 per cent
Main index edges up in final session before three-day trading break for Eid holiday

Egypt's major stocks have finished the week in the green, the benchmark EGX30 closing Thursday up 0.79 per cent at 4,424 points.
Of more than 170 traded stocks, over 130 made gains.
Total turnover was LE207.8 million, significantly down on trade at the start of the week.
The Bourse will be closed over the Eid Al-Adha holiday and reopen Wednesday 9 November.
