Jose admits Ahly talks
Portuguese coach Manuel Jose reveals negotiations with Ahly, says he will announce his decision after Christmas

Portuguese tactician Manuel Jose Da Silva has said that he is in talks with Ahly to take charge of the team for the third time in his career.
“I have been in contact with some officials but we are still in negotiation and there is nothing concrete yet,” the 64-year old coach told an Egyptian TV sports' program.
The former Ahly and Angola coach resigned last Thursday from his job at Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah after a string of poor performances – an eight game winless run - that knocked the team off the summit of the table.
“I have a couple of offers now, one from Ahly and another from Qatari side Al-Sadd. I'll consider the options and take my decision after Christmas,” he added.
Ahly have been chasing a high profile tactician to take over the team after the resignation of Hossam El-Badry last November.
Jose had already two successful spells at Ahly in 2001-2002 and 2004 – 2009 leading them to 19 titles including four CAF Champions' League trophies.
