Goal hungry Abou-Treika to drive Ahly against Arab Contractors
Four games are set to take place in the Egyptian Premier League day 14 on Saturday, with defending champions Ahly taking on lowly Arab Contractors
Published in Ahram Online on 24 - 12 - 2010

Ahly have been knocked off the top of the Egyptian Premier League table a few weeks ago but are surely not out of the title race and will want to prove their point when they take on Arab Contractors on Saturday.
The Red Devils will go to this game in a confident mood after beating Haras El-Hodoud last Tuesday to register their first win in five games.
Caretaker coach Abdel-Aziz Abdel-Shafy ‘Zizo' stressed that his men needed that win to bounce back and now they'll have to build on it.
He'll have to do without international defender Wael Gomaa who is servinga one-match ban after picking his fourth yellow card against Haras El Hodoud.
The 58-year old tacticianwill welcome backwinger Mohamed Barakat and midfielder Hossam Ashour who have been ruled out because of injuries but above all he's delighted to see Mohamed Abou-Treika gain back his scoring form.
The Ahly's talisman netted three goals in the past couple of games winning some crucial points for the Reds.
Abou-Treika is just one goal away from hitting the 100 milestone goal in the Egyptian League and joining the exclusive centennial club that includes only six players that have scored more than 100 goals in the league.
Zizo is betting on his playmaker to inspire the team to beat Arab Contractors ahead of the Cairo derby on Thursday 30 December.
Theoretically, it should be an easy task as they will play against the team second from the bottom, and that hasn't won a game in their previous five games.
The former Egyptian champions are trailing in the relegation zone and have only collected three points in their last five games.
The club's board had to appoint Frenchman Ivica Todrov to replace Hamza Al-Gamal in November but he is still fighting to put the team on the right track.
Another title match will be in action today as Ismaily travel to Salam stadium, Cairo, to play El-Entag El-Harby.
The Egyptian Premier League runners-up, who maintain a four-game winning streak, will have a tough task as the hosts want to overcome their last defeat against Enppi 3-2.
Two other games will take place on Saturday as Haras El-Hodoud host Enppi while Talae Al-Gaish take on Ittihad El-Shorta.
Today's games:
Ahly – Arab Contractors (19:00)
El-Entag El-Harby – Ismaily (16:45)
Haras El-Hodoud – Enppi (16:45)
Talae Al-Gaish – Ittihad El-Shorta (16:45)
Times are in Cairo local time (GMT +2)
