Already-qualified Cameroon claimed a 2-0 win over Gambia in the final round of the African Nations Cup qualifiers Group M on Saturday. The Indomitable Lions, who finished on top of the group with 14 points, had already booked their place at next year's Nations Cup in Gabon with one match to spare. Striker Benjamin Moukandjo put the hosts ahead ten minutes before the break and Karl Toko Ekambi added the second in the 53th minute. Elsewhere, Ethiopia defeated Seychelles 2-1 in Group J but the two sides had already failed to qualify for the Nations Cup. Tassew gave visitors Seychelles the lead after 21 minutes but Ethiopia equalised in the 35th minute via a goal from Getaneh Kebede before Saladin Said gave them all three points in the 56th minute. Ethiopia finished second in Group J with 11 points, seven clear of third-placed Seychelles. Already qualified Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw with Rwanda in their final Group H game. Ghana reached the Nations Cup after topping the group with 17 points, while Rwanda finished second with six points.
