AUC downtown presents "The Backstage Musical"
The Tiatro Independent Theatre presents "The Backstage Musical" at Ewart Hall tomorrow, Monday, 3 October

The Tiatro Independent Theatre will perform tomorrow, Monday, 3 October, their latest performance, "The Backstage Musical", at Ewart Hall in the downtown campus of the American University in Cairo.
Theatre crew includes Maysa Orensa, Amira Reda, Summer Galal, Hend El-Shimy, Amgad Emam, Beco G, Fahd Ibrahim, Omar Raafat, and Sarah Khalil, who is also the playright of the show. Among its musicians are pianists Faisal Fouad and Medea Ormotsadze, violinist Ahmed Ashraf , Mohamed Labib on the saxophone and Karim Adnan on double bass.
"The Backstage Musical" is choreographed by Amgad Essam and directed by Amr Abdel Hamid and Reem Emara. The musical will also feature music by Ahmed Harfoush and his Riff Band.
Tiatro Independent Threatre was founded by Egyptian visual artist and movie maker Omar El-Moutaz Bellah in 2001 with the goal of supporting art and artistic movements.
"The Backstage Musical" will be performed Monday, 3 October, at 8pm.
