Juventus celebrated another Serie A title with a 2-0 victory over Carpi in a party atmosphere in Turin on Sunday.
Juventus had already clinched its fifth successive title before kicking a ball after Napoli lost 1-0 at Roma on Monday.
There was no sign of a celebration hangover as Hernanes scored his first goal for the club before substitute Simone Zaza wrapped up the points late on.
Carpi remained outside the relegation zone but is now above 18th-placed Palermo only on goal difference after the Sicilian side beat Sampdoria 2-0.
Frosinone are four points behind in 19th after wasting a two-goal lead in a 3-3 draw at AC Milan.
Jeremey Menez netted a stoppage-time penalty for Milan. Mario Balotelli, who had an earlier penalty saved, also hit the bar with the last kick of the match.
Milan has fallen to seventh spot, a point below Sassuolo, which beat Hellas Verona 1-0 to leapfog above the Rossoneri into the final Europa League qualifying berth.
There are two rounds remaining.
Empoli drew 0-0 against Bologna. Inter Milan visits Lazio later.
Despite having clinched the title, there was no sign of Juventus easing up as it secured its 25th victory in 26 matches. It has not conceded a goal at home in 2016.
Hernanes broke the deadlock three minutes from halftime with a low shot from outside the area that squeezed in between Carpi goalkeeper Vid Belec and the right post.
Zaza doubled Juve's lead with 10 minutes remaining, sending a powerful header from Paul Pogba's cross into the far side of the net.
With Carpi having played earlier, Frosinone knew a win would move it to within a point of safety and it got off to the perfect start as Luca Paganini gave it the lead in the second minute.
Alex almost leveled but saw his header edged onto the crossbar before Oliver Kragl doubled Frosinone's lead with a 30-yard free kick on the stroke of halftime.
Milan should have got back into the match straight after the break but Frosinone stand-in goalkeeper Francesco Bardi saved Balotelli's penalty following Adriano Russo's handball.
Carlos Bacca did score for Milan minutes later after a mistake from Bardi, who allowed a cross to squirm between him and the near post for the Colombia forward to tap into an empty net.
Federico Dionisi restored Frosinone's two-goal advantage almost immediately before Keisuke Honda had a goal ruled out for Milan in a frantic first 15 minutes of the second half.
Milan did reduce the deficit again in the 74th minute as substitute Luca Antonelli scored a stunning goal moments after coming on, chesting down the ball with his back to goal and firing it in with an overhead kick.
Milan was awarded another penalty in stoppage time following Vasyl Pryima's handball. Menez stepped up and Bardi came close to also saving his spot kick but it went into the bottom left corner.
