Bundesliga side Mainz says Tunisia striker Sami Allagui was hospitalised after suffering blood circulation problems on his flight back from international duty. Mainz said Tuesday that the 25-year-old Allagui had “simply eaten and drunk too little” and was met at the airport by a friend who took him to the Frankfurt University Hospital. The club says Allagui was kept there overnight for checks but is now back at home “and on the road to recovery.” Allagui was returning from Tunisia's 0-0 draw in Malawi in an African Cup qualifier on Saturday.
