Usain Bolt wins 200 at the world championships Usain Bolt won the men's 200 meters at the world championships in 19.40 seconds Saturday, the fourth fastest time in history
Bolt took the lead before coming out of the bend and never was threatened. He set the world record of 19.19 at the worlds in Berlin two years ago. Walter Dix of the United States took silver in 19.70 and Christophe Lemaitre of France earned bronze in 19.80. Bolt failed to claim a sprint double, however, getting disqualified in the 100 final for a false start.
