Egypt beats Ivory Coast to keep their hopes alive in the African Basketball Championship
The Pharaohs keep their hopes alive to reach the next round of the African Basketball Championship after beating Ivory Coast 82-75 on Friday

Egypt' national basketball team defeated Ivory Coast 82-75 in their second African Basketball Championship game on Friday, keeping alive their high hopes to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Egyptian team took the upper hand of the game at the two quarter mark of the game and edged to end the match seven points up.
It's the second game for Egypt in this championship, where in the first one they suffered a 96 – 81 loss to Cameroon Wednesday.
Earlier that day, Cameroon thrashed South Africa 87-65 in another match of the same group.
Egypt are third in group C with three points, only one point behind Cameroon, who lead the group with 4 points and Ivory Coast who are the runners-up of the group with three points and one shot difference with Egypt.
The top two teams in the group will advance to the next round.
