Egypt's Oriental Weavers Q2 profit LE58 million
Major carpet manufacturer sees 4.4 per cent slide in profits despite healthy gains in sales

Egypt's Oriental Weavers posted a 4.4 per cent drop in second-quarter net profit to LE58 million (US$9.7 million), the firm said in an emailed statement on Monday.
Oriental Weavers is of the world's major carpet manufacturers.Net profit for the same period a year earlier was LE60.7 million.
Sales were up 16 per cent to LE1.1 billion.
