Nigeria's chances against Egypt are 'bright', says Sunday Oliseh

Nigeria manager Sunday Oliseh voiced confidence ahead of next month's double header against Egypt in the Nations Cup qualifiers, saying he is sure that his side will be able to bag maximum points.
The Super Eagles will host the Pharaohs on 26 March in Kaduna before facing them again three days later at Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria.
Oliseh believes that his side would have a good chance to prevail in the two clashes, given that Egypt are still unable to restore their glory days which saw them win the Nations Cup three straight times in 2006, 2008 and 2010 before stunningly failing to reach the following three editions of the biennial tournament.
"The Egyptian team is far from the one of four years ago. So our chances are bright," Sunday Oliseh told Nigerian media on Wednesday.
"We just need to concentrate and try to win for Nigeria."
Nigeria are second in Group G with four points, two behind leaders Egypt who collected maximum points from easy wins over Chad and Tanzania.
With only the group winners guaranteed automatic qualification for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria will be desperate to overcome Egypt.
Oliseh is heavily counting on Watford striker Odion Ighalo to fulfill this target.
Ighalo produced a string of strong displays with the English Premier League side, scoring 15 goals so far this season.
"Ighalo is doing well at Watford which is good for us. We hope he stays injury-free before the games against Egypt as he is one player we will be counting on to help us win the game," he added.
