Liverpool gave away early Christmas presents on Sunday as Watford surged to a 3-0 victory in the Premier League after a stagnant performance by Juergen Klopp's side. Adam Bogdan deputized in goal for Liverpool with first-choice Simon Mignolet injured but dropped a corner at the feet of Nathan Ake, who tapped in after three minutes at Vicarage Road. It was swiftly 2-0 as Odion Ighalo outmuscled Martin Skrtel to reach a high ball from Troy Deeney, before slotting clinically past Bogdan on 15. The third goal came five minutes from the end when Ighalo was left unmarked to head in a cross from Valon Behrami. Liverpool rarely troubled Watford's defense as Quique Sanchez Flores' side took all three points with a commanding display.
