Esperance to turn Ahly's African clash into celebration
Esperance to celebrate Tunisia championships with revolution-brothers, Egypt's Ahly during their Africa Champions League match on 30 July

Tunisian champions Esperance are to celebrate their domestic league win during the African Champions' League group stage match against Egyptian champions, Ahly, next Thursday.
“Our players and technical staff deserve a good celebration after their efforts so we are contacting Ahly's official to join us,” Esperance president Hamdi Al Mouadab was quoted as saying in the Tunisian newspaper Assabah.
Behind closed doors, Esperance have won their third successive title, beating rivals and runners up E.S. Sahel who lag five points behind with 64 in the first, post-revolution season, which ran long because of the football pause during the country's protests that ousted former president Ben Ali.
“We are hoping that we can celebrate the Cup winning too,” Al Mouadab said hopefully.
The 23-time Tunisia champions are to clash with E. S. Sahel in the Tunisian Cup final on Monday.
“Egyptian Ahly is a big team and will add value to our ceremony,” he added.
Ahly won their seventh successive Egyptian Premier League title recently in circumstances similar to Tunisia's team due to the January 25th Revolution that forced former president Hosni Mubarak to step down.
The Tunisian champions are third in Group B of the Champions League after Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Egypt's Ahly, and ahead of Algeria's MC Alger with goal deference as the four Arab teams have equal points after draws in the first round.
