Egyptian stocks slipped into the red in the final minutes of trading Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX30 closing 0.04 per cent down at 5,142.45 points. For much of the day the index was tracking far above its opening level, peaking at 5,174 points at 11.30am before its gradual decline. Total market turnover was LE499.9 million, with trading in theCommercial International Bank (CIB) accounting for around a sixth of the figure.
