Germany's Boateng to join Bayern from Man City
Germany defender Jerome Boateng is set to join Bayern Munich from Manchester City on a four-year contract

Bayern said Wednesday that Boateng will arrive in Munich for a medical in the next few days and sign his contract. It said both clubs agreed not to disclose the transfer fee.
Boateng is currently in Los Angeles with Manchester City. The player joined City from Hamburg at the beginning of last season on a five-year deal.
Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger says Boateng “fits perfectly with Bayern's philosophy—he is also the player our coach, Jupp Heynckes, wanted.”
