Queens Park boss advises Moroccan Taarabt to stay put
English Premier League newly-promoted side Queens Park Rangers (QPR) aim to keep hold of Adel Taarabt despite Paris Saint-Germain's interest

QPR manager Neil Warnock confirmed on Tuesday that French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have inquired about the availability of Adel Taarabt but called on the Moroccan to stay put, at least until next January.
"PSG have made an enquiry and they obviously offer him the chance to be nearer to home, although there is a Spanish club being mentioned as well,” Warnock told the London Evening Standard.
‘'My advice to him is to stay until Christmas, get some experience and show people what he can do. That may fall on deaf ears, unfortunately. It's sad.
“I don't think I have ever spent so much time trying to get the best out of one individual and I think he will regret leaving."
According to Sky sports, PSG have made a £13.5 million bid to acquire the services of the 22-year-old playmaker.
The in-form Taarabt played a key role in helping QPR earn Premier League promotion, producing a string of superb displays and scoring 19 goals in 43 appearances last season.
He was linked with several English and Spanish clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
"He is missing his family in Marseille. If we get a big offer from a club in France that obviously gives him a chance to be closer to them. That would be a big pull,” Warnock added.
“Flavio Briatore (co-owner of QPR) is dealing with the negotiations. He is keeping me informed of the situation and at this precise moment he won't be leaving because no one has met the asking price."
