Egypt and Anderlecht midfielder ‘Trezeguet' suffers dislocated shoulder
Published in Ahram Online on 06 - 10 - 2015

Egypt midfielder Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” has been ruled out of the team's upcoming friendly games against Senegal and Zambia after suffering a dislocated shoulder on Tuesday.
The Ahly-bound attacking midfielder, who is on a season-long loan at Belgian giants Anderlecht, suffered the injury during an Egypt training session in the United Arab Emirates, where they will face Senegal on Thursday before meeting Zambia on Sunday.
The two friendly games come as part of the Pharaohs' preparations for their opening World Cup qualifier against either Chad or Sierra Leone in November.
Hassan, nicknamed Trezeguet due to his resemblance to former France striker David Trezeguet, moved to Anderlecht after producing some impressive displays with Cairo giants Ahly last season although they lost the Egyptian Premier League title to arch-rivals Zamalek.
The 21-year-old made his Egypt debut in a friendly game against Kenya in August 2014. He has since played four international games, including a substitute appearance in the team's 5-1 drubbing of Chad in an African Cup of Nations qualifier last month.
Trezeguet is yet to make his debut with Anderlecht but he caused controversy after posting a doctored Instagram picture that blurred out the faces of female fans welcoming him to the club, prompting calls to heavily punish him.
He then apologized before appearing on the cover of the club's magazine as part of a "no to discrimination" campaign.
