Egyptian tourism minister seeks Kuwaiti investments Abdel Nour drums up interest in tourism investment during his visit to the emirate, the largest single investor in Egypt
Egyptian Minister of Tourism Munir Fakhry Abdel Nour has discussed boosting cooperation in tourism with Kuwait, during his visit to the emirate on Tuesday, reports the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Abdel Nour encouraged Kuwaiti businessmen at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to use the investment opportunities open to them in Egypt, adding that tourism is one of the most important components of the Egyptian economy. Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan stressed the importance of this cooperation. "Kuwaiti investments in Egypt are the largest [of any Arab nation]," he said, addingthat the number of visitors to Egypt is increasing. Kuwait is the sixth Arab country by number of its tourists to Egypt, owning investments worth $1.3 billion in the North African country.
