The best is yet to come from Zamalek, says Ibrahim Hassan
Despite losing two precious points in the Egyptian Premier League title race, Zamalek's football director is still optimistic about the Whites chances to continue proving their worth

Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan is confident of his team's ability to realise their league title campaign successfully after the 0-0 draw against El-Geish on Monday.
“We did our best but it was not our day,” the former Egypt star was quoted as saying after the match by the club's official website.
The Cairo giants are seeking their first league title since 2004 and, according to Hassan, the backing of their fans in the remaining five games will play a key part in them fulfilling that dream.
“Zamalek fans must forget the result against El-Geish and continue supporting us in the coming matches,” added Hassan who refused to comment on the performance of the match referee Mohamed Farouq, the target of missiles thrown by Zamalek fans.
Zamalek, the leaders with 50 points, face the prospect of losing their place on the league summit to their arch-rivals -- and title holders -- Ahly, who are second on 49 points but play ENPPI today.
“I am confident that with God's blessing we will be successful in the coming matches,” the football director added.
For Zamalek assistant coach Tarek Soliman, the absence through injury of several key players and wasting chances on goal were the main reasons for the stalemate.
“We were the best but unlucky against the goal. Losing two points doesn't mean that we are out of the title race,” Soliman said in the press conference after the game.
“We deserve to be the champions and the five remaining matches are enough to complete our mission,” the coach concluded.
