Ferry sinks in Nile near Giza's Waraq
Boat carrying atleast 20 passengers sinks in Giza's Waraq, death toll has not yet been determined

A ferry has sank in the River Nile in the Warraq area in Giza, head of the Investigation Department at Giza Security Directorate Magdi Abdelaal told Aswat Masriya late Wednesday.
At least twenty passengers were on board but the number of casualties could not be determined yet, according to Abdelaal.
Following the incident, the Ministry of Health declared a state of emergency in the public hospitals of Giza.
Similar boat accidents have occured in Egypt over the past years, especially during Eid holidays.
