Ahly coach Manuel Jose Da Silva will have to do without inspirational midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika for the next three to four weeks because of a recurrent calf injury. The gifted 32-year-old midfielder – who had already missed Ahly's past three games because of this injury – was forced out of Salemeya's friendly last Thursday and had to undergo further scans over the past couple of days. “It's the same injury again and Abou-Treika needs from three to four weeks to recover completely. We'll have to be very careful this time to make sure it doesn't come back again,” Ahly's doctor Walid Abdel-Baky was quoted as saying. It's a huge blow for the Red Devils who are set to play a string of crucial matches against Petrojet, ENPPI, Ismaily and Zamalek respectively that would be decisive in the team's hunt for a seventh consecutive league title.
