Zamalek players building new history, says Ferreira
Zamalek coach praises players after reaching the CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 on Sunday

Zamalek coach Jusualdo Ferreira has praised his players for beating FUS Rabat of Morocco 3-2 in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
"The current Zamalek players are building a new history for the team as they maintain their league lead as well as continue winning in the African tournament," he said after the game.
Two late goals propelled Zamalek to an exciting 3-2 victory at Morocco's FUS Rabat to ensure they advanced to another last-16 stage of the African Confederation Cup on Sunday.
Zamalek, who struggled to create any goal-scoring chances in a dull 0-0 first-leg draw in Cairo, went through on aggregate via a Bassem Morsi header on the quarter-hour mark to leave FUS needing two goals to progress.
Despite grabbing the lead, Zamalek were punished for an ultra-cautious strategy when Marwane Saadane headed home five minutes before the break, before a lucky strike from Mourad Batna on 72 minutes sent the home fans into raptures.
Zamalek midfielder Omar Gaber finished off a flowing move six minutes from time to make it 2-2 and regain the team's advantage before substitute Hazem Emam made sure of their progress with a stoppage time goal.
"We should forget the African games and concentrate on the Egyptian Premier League games as we need to win the trophy," Omar Gaber said.
The White Knights are expected to face their arch-rivals Ahly in the last-16 of the African Confederation Cup when the draw is held at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday.
Zamalek are leading the Egyptian Premier League with 57 points, three more than runners-up ENPPI and eleven points over foes Ahly.
