Tottenham's Algerian midfielder Nabil Bentaleb said on Wednesday he is hoping his national team will replicate their qualifying success when they start their African Cup of Nations campaign this month. Algeria enjoyed a superb run in their qualifying campaign, winning five out of six matches. "We have tremendous players, we have very good talent and we are still a young side, but we have a few experienced players who we can take some lessons from. We have to keep our feet on the ground, work hard and hopefully it will go right for us," Bentaleb told Tottenham's official website on Wednesday. The 20-year-old admitted that he was "gutted" to leave the Spurs camp, adding that he is looking forward to the Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea. "Of course I was gutted to leave Tottenham for a while, but my country is counting on me. I have to assume my duties and play for my country and that's what I'm doing." Algeria were drawn in Group C alongside Senegal, Ghana and South Africa.
