Mattia Destro scored a stunning goal from near the halfway line to help Roma beat Hellas Verona 2-0 Saturday as the capital side maintained its perfect record in Serie A. Destro controlled Morgan De Sanctis' goal kick before smacking it into the back of the net on the half volley from more than 40 yards. The goal four minutes from time secured the points after substitute Alessandro Florenzi had given Roma the lead in the 75th, pouncing onto a slack pass and firing into the bottom right corner. Along with Juventus, Roma was the only other side which had won its opening four matches. There was a party atmosphere as Roma celebrated captain Francesco Totti's 38th birthday. Juventus visits Atalanta later. (For more sports news and updates, follow AhramOnline Sports on Twitter at@AO_Sportsand on Facebook atAhramOnlineSports.) http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/111831.aspx
