Ahly's winger Walid Soliman has told the club he plans to leave at the end of his current deal as he looks for another challenge abroad. Soliman's contract with the club expires at the end of this season and he will be eligible to sign with any club in January. The 29-year-old, who joined the club in the summer of 2011, became one of Ahly's key players, especially after the retirement of duo Mohamed Abou Treika and Mohamed Barakat. During his spell with the Cairo giants, he helped the club win several local and continental titles. ''I am so satisfied with my achievements at Ahly," Soliman told Al-Ahram Sports. "I am looking for a new challenge abroad," he said. "I informed the club that I want to leave in January." The former Petrojet winger had previous experience in the Saudi League when he was loaned to Ahly Jeddah in 2010.
