Egyptian civilian killed in Sinai shooting
The killing is the latest in rising militant attacks in the restive Sinai Peninsula

An Egyptian civilian was shot and killed by unidentified assailants Thursday, taking the number of people killed in 24 hours up to three, a security source told Aswat Masriya news website.
The source said the killing took place in Al-Arish city in the restive Sinai Peninsula.
Egypt has witnessed a wave of militant attacks, mainly targeting security forces but sometimes civilians as well, since the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi last year.
