Authorities are investigating Nazi swastikas painted on two Florida synagogues this week, local media reports said Tuesday. In the latest incident, a swastika, the initials "KKK" and a skull and bones were painted on a poster at the entrance to the Temple Emanu-El in Miami Beach. "This is a serious situation," Barbara Breslow, the temple's director, told WSVN television. "Everybody is very concerned." A surveillance camera recorded images of a possible suspect, a man with a backpack, at the synagogue's entrance at 3:00 am, the report said. On Monday, another swastika and the name of the Islamist Hamas movement were painted on the exterior walls of a synagogue in western Miami. That incident was reminiscent of yet another at a third synagogue at the end of July, when Israel was engaged in an offensive in Gaza against Hamas. In that case, vandals spray-painted a red swastika and "Hamas" on the synagogue in Miami Beach. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/110375.aspx
