A gram of gold was priced at 287 EGP (U.S. $47.91) for 21-carats, 247 EGP (U.S. $41.24) for 18-carat, and 247 EGP (U.S. $41.24) for 24-carat. The price of a gold Egyptian pound was valued at 2,304 EGP (U.S. $384.64). Gold prices witnessed the highest rise last week. A gold Egyptian pound was valued at 2,320 EGP (U.S. $387.31). The global markets and Egypt await the results of the first global stock market session Monday, in light of vacillation of the currencies and gold globally.
