Cooperation between Al-Azhar and Mauritanian University

CAIRO: Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayeb hosted the Dean of Mauritanian Abdallah Ibn Yasin University Sheikh Mohamed al-Hassan al-Shanqiti to discuss the position of science and scientists in Chinguetti, as well as the traditional curriculums still taught there and faithful scientists' efforts to develop them.
The Grand Imam welcomed the scientific activity spreading religion in accordance with Sunnah, highlighting Al-Azhar's readiness for scientific cooperation with the university.
