The financial interest of foreign tourism of tourists visiting Israeli in January to November 2011 reached two billion Shekels according to the Israeli Ministry of Tourism's recent report. This increase refers to the economical crisis in Egypt and declining Egyptian tourism sector. The report published in Maariv Israeli newspaper revealed Israel received 3,450,000 tourists in 2011. They added 14 billion Shekels to Israeli Minister of Finance's fund. The report said 15 percent of these interests were made from purchases. Foreign tourists spent these interests on various products and services. However they demanded to be excluded from the taxes of these products. In related news, Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Miszhnikov signed on the new systems that control the conditions to get tourist license activities.
