The Egyptian armed forces send choppers to save a Lebanese cargo ship sinking 50 miles from port Safaga. The ship was on its way to Somalia. The ship sailed from port Adabiya on Thursday December 1 with shipments of flour. During its journey on Saturday December 3, the ship suffered from a crack down the ship's body, which allowed water inside the machines' room. The sources said the water flooded the ship, which started to sink. Choppers from the armed forces flew to ship to rescue. They threw life-jackets down to the 14 crew members. Two other ships from Djibouti and Russia approached the ship in an attempt to save it. Arabic here
