CAIRO: Newly-appointed Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri said he continued consultations to complete forming a new government on Saturday. The government is expected to be completed tomorrow, Sunday, with the oaths of office taken either Sunday or Monday. Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Faiza Aboul Naga praised the performance of the former cabinet headed, by Essam Sharaf, which resigned amid a week of violent clashes in Cairo last month. The former government worked under tough circumstances, and the ministers used to work in harmony and coordination, said Aboul Naga. Aboul Naga said that she an optimist and asked the Egyptian people to pray for the security, prosperity and progress of Egypt. Asked about her responsibility as an element who worked in the government before and after Egypt's January 25 Revolution, Aboul Naga said, "The former regime worked for its own interest, whereas the current regimes work for the public's interests."
