CAIRO: Leaders in the Freedom and Justice and Salafi al-Nour parties announced they are ready to hold a governmental coalition in accordance with election results. The official spokesperson of al-Nour Party Mohamed Said said the initial election indications show the coalition will be formed between the Freedom and Justice and Salafi al-Nour parties. We do not expect that a certain party will acquire 50 percent of the parliamentary seats, therefore the parties that receive the highest percentages will form the government, said Said. He added that he expects parties with Islamic background to control the government. The al-Nour Party is ready to form a coalition with the Muslim Brotherhood's political party FJP in the case of Egypt's Islamic identity's preservation and the second article of the constitution activated with the role of Al-Azhar, said Said. The legal consultant of the FJP Ahmed Abou Baraka said the government will be formed by parties with the highest percentage of votes in the parliamentary elections.
