An Amnesty International fact finding team is currently in Egypt to investigate the human rights situation regarding the demonstrations in Cairo, Alexandria and other governorates, announced the organization. According to a statement issued by Amnesty International, the organization also plans to monitor the human rights situation during upcoming parliamentary elections. The elections, scheduled to begin on Monday, come as the organization just published a report on Tuesday on human rights in Egypt. The delegation includes Head of Research in Egypt Said Haddadi, Amnesty International's Director in London Kate Allen, the organization's Director of Communications in Norway Ayna Tin and their Egyptian Affairs Researcher Mohamed Lotfy.
