CAIRO: A total number of 43 Egyptian powers from parties, coalitions, revolutionary movements issued a statement in Tahrir Square on Wednesday November 23 showing a road map to run Egypt's affairs in this crisis. According to the Road Map, they announced: First: Issue an immediate decision to arrest the killers and those who ordered to open fire and throw teargas on the protesters; to immediately go under trial and exclude the leaders of the army and police involved in these incidents; to immediately stop the violence and the escalating crackdown against the protesters across all Egyptian governorates; and to withdraw all police forces pending the re-construction of the Ministry of Interior and firing all corrupted leaders who challenge the peoples' will and violate its dignity by killing the revolution. Second: Comply to the peoples' will by forming a national salvation government with all powers to run Egypt in this transitional period; cutting off the military council's powers to be confined to defending the borders and participate only in providing security to Egypt and the citizens by authorizing one figure the revolutionaries will propose in forming the new government; hand over authority to an elected power at a time no later than 2012, in accordance with the following vision: • Holding the Shura Council elections in accordance with the its deadline on March 14, 2012. • Opening the nomination for the presidential election on March 14-28, 2012. • Holding the presidential elections on April 28, 2012 and the repeated election on May 5, 2012. • Handing over the full executive authority to an elected president on May 15, 2012. Third: The national salvation government should announce a Constitutional Declaration, including a timetable for the presidential elections and the relations between all authorities. Fourth: Specifying the government's powers and duties according to the following: • Holding the parliamentary and presidential elections and handing over the legislative and executive authority in accordance with the above-mentioned schedule. • Purging Egypt and its entities form corruption and remnants of the former regime. • Reclaiming security, confronting crime and re-constructing the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. • Improving the living conditions of Egyptians and providing goods and services at reasonable prices. All political powers called upon all Egyptians to participate on November 25 in the million-man demonstration entitled Friday of the "Nation's Revolution."
