CAIRO: National Council of Human Rights member Adel Koura told Youm7 he likely to form a fact-finding mission investigating the clashes that have erupted in Tahrir over the past two days. He described the situation as a disaster, adding that it will negatively affect Egypt's economy and national security. The Human rights official blamed demonstrators who called for organizing a million-man demonstration, with the country's first post-January 25 Revolution parliamentary elections so close. He also criticized the ruling military council and government for presenting the constitutional principles document at such a critical time, adding the document only fueled the situation. He said the document should not be binding so as not to impede the institutional committee's role when drafting Egypt's new constitution. Koura criticized the government for not taking the correct political decisions to contain the serious developments.
