CAIRO: The April 6 Youth Movement announced its participation in tomorrow's planned million-man demonstration, nicknamed ‘Friday of the only demand.' The movement met with potential presidential candidate Hazem Abu Ismail and his campaign on Wednesday, November 16 to discuss the activities which the movement will apply. Enji Hamdi, a member of the group's political bureau, said after the meeting they agreed that Friday, November 18 will be the ‘Friday of the only demand' which focuses on the transfer of power to a civilian government no later than April 2012. The April 6 Movement issued a statement on Wednesday to announce its participation, ensuring that their demand is to ensure Egypt is a democratic and civil state and not ruled by the military. The movement called on all Egyptians and demonstrators to face all those who are trying to ruin the revolution.
