CAIRO: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said the government is preparing a law to allow Egyptian expatriates to vote in elections, whether parliamentary or presidential. In a short message posted on his official Facebook page, Sharaf said, “everything was achieved to make the Egyptian expatriates' dream to vote come true.” The release of the law is the only thing left and the government is preparing it now, Sharaf added. In related news, Sharaf said the flow of Egyptian expatriates to register their names to vote last Thursday is a reflection of the true desire of Egyptian expatriates to participate in building Egypt's new future. Sharaf said that there were some technical problems but he directed the government to solve them. Sharaf said Egyptians inside and outside Egypt decided to participate in elections, and the government will be devoted to achieving the people's desire.
