CAIRO: Egyptian Minister of Manpower Ahmed al-Borai headed to Geneva on Thursday to participate in the meeting of the International Labor Organization (ILO). The meeting is scheduled to discuss the measure taken by Egypt's Cabinet through agreeing on the draft law of unions' freedoms and sending it to the country's ruling military council for approval. Al-Borai said he will offer the decision of the Cabinet to the ILO to prove the government's intention to support the freedom of labor syndicates. "Issuing such a law will allow Egypt avoid entering the black list of those countries that violate the rights of laborers,” said al-Borai.
