Fan el Midan held in celebration of Eid

CAIRO: A celebration commemorating Eid al-Adha will take place in Abdeen Square. The celebration will include music performances at an open-air theatre and a puppet show by Ahmed Abd el-Moneim.
There will also be a half-hour, candlelit moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the Maspiro clashes earlier this month.
The celebration will also include various workshops, presentations and kiosks representing charities, bookshops and artisans.
