Archeologists Union to launch website

CAIRO: The Archaeologists Union is preparing to launch its website after next week's Eid al-Adha, an Islamic religious feast. Tarek Tawfik, the union's media spokesman, gave a special statement to Youm7.
Tawfik said the site will contain all information related to the union and the statements of members of the Board of Directors and members of the assembly.
He added that the site will also include the electronic forms for those interested in membership.
A competition has been launched on the union's Facebook page to find a new slogan for the union.
In related news, the union is currently waiting for approval of the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mustafa Amin, regarding its new headquarters, Bait Azzazi, in the area of Darb al-Ahmar.
