Health Ministry: 12 wounded in ferry fire

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Mohamed al-Sherbiny, announced that 12 were wounded in a fire on the Egyptian ferry "Billa,” but no one died.
The wounded will likely be transferred by ambulances to hospitals near the Jordanian port of Aqaba, said Sherbiny.
Sherbiny said that the total number of the passengers was 1,234, with 940 Egyptians. The other passengers were of ten different nationalities.
He said the ministry sent 20 prepared ambulances to Nuweiba and 20 to Suez.
