SHARQEYA, Egypt: The Sharqeya branch of April 6 Movement launched a new campaign entitled ‘Parlimentary elections in black and white,' aiming to educate citizens of the dangers of electing remnants of the former regime. One participant of the campaign, Ahmed Sharkawy, said the campaign began at the University of Zagazig, where members of the April 6 Movement went to the faculties of engineering and literature to give talks and distribute pamphlets about the parliamentary elections and how to make good choices about the candidates. He said the campaign will continue until Thursday November 3 and will resume after the Islamic holidays of Eid al-Adha.
