A number of disabled decided to suspend their three-day strike before the Egyptian Cabinet after Assistant Director General of Egypt's Cabinet, Maher Shams, promised to offer a memorandum of their demands to Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. Khaled Gamal, one of the demonstrators, said that they met with Shams for 30 minutes in his office. He said they explained the difficult conditions from which they suffer and presented their demands. He said that Shams promised him to offer their legal demands to Sharaf. Other demonstrator, Mohamed al-Sayed, said that they will give three weeks to the government to respond to their realize their demands, threatening that they will organize another strike if their demands have not been met. Demonstrators removed banners they raised during their strike.
