Revolution Youth Union: Military trials must stop

The Revolution Youth Union condemned military trials for civilians as discrimination against political activists and the revolution youth in a statement issued Monday.
According to the statement, the military council insists on continuing military trials for civilians that have imprisoned innocent citizens despite its pledge to stop military trials against civilians.
“The council did not fulfill any of its promises it made on February 11, the thing that made us lose our trust in the council,” the statement said.
The statement demanded the Supreme Judicial Council investigate the Maspiro clashes as a neutral party. It said a military investigation is illegitimate, as it was party to the incidents.
