This leads to the collapse of network of roads and bridges, especially on the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road, which started to show signs of severe damage. The source added financial allocations that would meet the needs of maintenance this year would estimate more than 6.1 billion EGP (U.S. $1.02 million), 60 million EGP (U.S. $10.05 million) of which was supplied by the Ministry of Finance and the rest depend on the revenues of the roads and bridges authority.
