TEHRAN, Iran: Iranian Minister of Culture Mohammad Hosseini on Friday expressed the happiness of the Iranian people at the restoration of Egypt's prestige in the Islamic world. He said this reflects Egypt's position on various issues. During a meeting with Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Mutaz Khorshid in Paris, Hosseini said, “Iranians eagerly watched news of the Egyptian revolution.” “They are pleased at the interest shown by the revolution of the Egyptian people to the issues of the oppressed Palestinian people,” he added, reiterating his country's desire to deepen relations with Egypt.
