GIZA, Egypt: An Egyptian young man was killed on the morning of Thursday October 27 by gunshots from Egyptian policemen in plainclothes in the neighborhood of Sheikh Zewaid in October 6 City. Two policemen opened fire on Moataz Anwar Suleiman (24) inside his car as they were following him in their police car. They shot five bullets at him, which lead to his immediate death. "Two policemen shot Suleiman in his car and he tried to escape, however they shot at him in a car chase and their bullets went through his back and out his chest," the martyr's lawyer and relative Emad Awad said. Citizens gathered when they heard the sound of bullets at the site of the incident. Policemen carried Suleiman's dead body, claiming they are heading to el-Sheikh Zewaid specialized hospital. The policemen fled but the citizens wrote the police car 's license plate numbers, Awad added. Suleiman relatives filed a lawsuit against the two policemen for investigation. Military police forces barricaded el-Sheikh Zewaid police station and deployed armored vehicles as well in case of any possible reactions form the residents, Awad noted. He also called on all the Revolutionary youth and human rights organizations to help him in claiming Suleiman's rights. More details will be updated later.
