The sons of Egyptian novelist Khairy Shalaby and poet Bashir Aiyad has asked that biographies written by Shalaby be reprinted. They asked the public authority of culture palaces to reprint the biographies of various music and singing legends. It is estimated that Shalaby wrote 600 biographies during his career. Aiyad said Shalaby always had a superior way of writing artistic portraits. He said Shalaby managed to paint prominent singers and musicians with words, and in doing so revealed new qualities in the artists.
